Juan-Jose builds relationships that drive sales results in the performance, auto racing and off-road industry while drawing upon his extensive knowledge of the Latin American and Caribbean market. Juan-Jose excels at creating effective marketing strategies and executing on them. He is self-motivated, a strong leader and has a talent for interacting effectively with all levels of customer personnel and senior management to achieve continued growth and results. He is an active member of SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association). Juan-Jose is fluent in English and Spanish and is proficient in Portuguese.
Ricardo is an Industrial Engineer with a master’s degree in logistics and operations with more than 20 years of experience designing and managing complex logistics operations including importing and exporting, customer service, and order fulfillment. Ricardo excels at improving efficiencies, executing strategic operational plans, mapping processes and is very familiar working with large databases. A rally, Formula 1, and off-road enthusiast, Ricardo has a demonstrated passion for helping racing teams. From Lima-Peru, Ricardo manages sales and customer service with accounts in Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia.
Beyond his role as president of Direct Parts Inc., he has served many terms on the SEMA Board of Directors, was on the Executive Committee and other SEMA committees, and has acted as a consultant for SEMA on industry-related issues.
His experience encompasses sales and sales management, advertising, customer proposals, product management, new product development, customer proposals, product costing & pricing, forecasting, customer order handling, project management and new business start-ups.
